![]() I truly hope this series gets a second season because I feel like I am far from done watching. The storyline and characters just completely sucked you in to the point where all I wanted to do was watch the next episode. By the end however I was completely obsessed, and hadn’t even realised how much I was enjoying the series until I had finished it. The first few episodes were nice, enjoyable, I began getting invested in the mystery. The Hardy Boys in a way was a series that snuck up on you. The series may have been called The Hardy Boys, but Frank and Joe truly could not have done this alone. The team had an almost Scooby gang vibe, and it was nice seeing the kids all work together to solve Laura’s murder, it felt weirdly wholesome. ![]() I liked this group effort and how all the characters had to work together to solve the case, showcasing everybody’s individual strengths and weaknesses. Upon moving to Bridgeport, Frank and Joe are befriended by Callie, Chet, Biff and Phil who all immediately step in to help when they are needed- despite having only known the brothers a few weeks at most. I really liked the ensemble cast of The Hardy Boys and the team effort it took to solve the case. Bridgeport would be the sort of place I’d love to visit or even live, even with all the trouble it still seemed like a great place to be. I don’t know if it was the 90s setting or the small town in summer location but the show just felt like a really charming aspect to it. Despite the numerous murders, kidnappings and attacks throughout the series, the show just felt nice and safe. The Hardy Boys had a really wholesome vibe to it that I couldn’t help but get drawn in to. ![]() ![]() The Hardy Boys and friends definitely had their work cut put for them and I really enjoyed following the mystery along and seeing where it led. Bridgeport was a town of secret societies, hidden treasures and warring families- all hell bent on getting what they wanted, whatever the cost. Initially the boys were just looking into their Mother’s murder but then they realised that the story Laura was chasing got her killed for a reason. The actual mystery to The Hardy Boys was a compelling one that just got bigger and bigger as the series progressed. After watching however I am determined to begin consuming everything Hardy Boys and will be definitely be checking out the books and other series, I was very impressed. Still, I had no idea what to expect, only that it was two brothers who solved mysteries. Since watching the 2018 film and 2019 series, I have been trying to comsume everything Drew and this has now branched out to include The Hardy Boys. In fact the only reason I did go to watch this was because of my growing interest in Nancy Drew. Going into this I had a very limited knowledge of The Hardy Boys, only hearing mention of them occasionly in the Nancy Drew fandom. Who can the brothers really trust? And what does this new mystery have to do with the recent death of their Mother? But with such a powerful object up for grabs, enemy hands are seemingly everywhere. With three waring families each after the pieces, Frank, Joe and their new friends must solve the mystery and hunt down the treasure before it falls into enemy hands. Settling into Bridgeport the brothers expect a quiet summer but soon stumble upon a mystery that dates back to the very origins of the town.Īfter finding a mysterious piece of metal that seemingly grants its owner good luck, Frank and Joe discover that the treasure is one of three and anybody who gets their hands on the whole set has the ultimate power. She has a ton of exciting projects in the works and has become well-known as a young actor by working with some of Hollywood’s top stars!
